Born to learn is a fun, thought-provoking series of animations that illustrate ground-breaking new discoveries about how humans learn.
Born to Learn is operated by The 21st Century learning initiative. The Initiative is a registered charity (number 1003067 ) and is administered by a Board of Trustees. It has been in existence since 1996 when it assumed the residual responsibilities of the earlier Education 2000 Trust first set up in 1983.
The Initiative receives no financial support from government, and is entirely dependent for its income upon charitable donations, income from lectures and the sales of books.
At present the Initiative is seeking further funds to meet the costs of a further dozen videos. It needs additional funds to support an extended set of conferences to intrude these ideas further into the public domain.
While larger donations are always extremely welcome – and John Abbott, our Director, would be happy to discuss what these might be, and how they might be spent – donations of a more modest nature, from enough people, can achieve a great deal.
Those considering a larger donation, especially if this might attract Gift Aid if the donor is a UK tax payer, should contact Jim Robinson at the Initiative by email. Other donors are encouraged to use our Paypal donation option below.
